Nancy has been working at Park Ridge Animal Hospital since May 2000. In addition to being a highly qualified veterinary technician, Nancy is in charge of our inventory and ordering. She attended college at Lake Erie College for equine studies where she double majored in biology and equine studies. She also attended Morven Park International Equestrian Institute. Nancy lives in Park Ridge and has four dogs Annie, Holly, Gibbs, Paterson. She also has birds and donkeys. Nancy has been breeding and showing Labradors for many years in her free time.
Erin has been working in the veterinary field for over 15 years. She is originally from Rhode Island where she grew up riding and showing horses and participated in an internship program at Roger Williams Park Zoo. Erin worked in emergency medicine on Long Island and now lives in Rockland County. She was hired as a surgical nurse in November 2010. When she’s not at PRAH, she’s probably at either a soccer, baseball or basketball game for one of her two sons or spending time with her rescued pit bull terrier Pepper.
Erica joined the staff at PRAH in 2011. She graduated from Mercy College majoring in Veterinary Technology and also has a business degree. Her previous work experience includes critical care at a local emergency animal hospital. She lives in Rockland County with her family and 3 rescued cats.
Barbara has worked at PRAH since the summer of 2012. She has worked as a veterinary technician for many years and also works at a veterinary emergency hospital. She enjoys spending time with clients and educating them about pet care. Barbara also enjoys working in surgery and performing dental cleanings.
Abbey Frizzell has worked at Park Ridge Animal Hospital since March 2013. She has a special interest in surgery and dentistry. She has attended many courses on dentistry, dental x-ray and anesthesia. She shares her home in Sussex County with her husband and son, two dogs, Bocephus and Nacho and two cats.
Laura started working at PRAH in February 2016. She has been working as a veterinary technician since 2011. Laura graduated Summa Cum Laude from Roger William University with a BS in Marine Biology and a BA in Environmental Chemistry. In addition, Laura worked for four years at Six Flags Great Adventure as a Senior Animal Trainer. She cared for a variety of exotic animals from reptiles to birds to monkeys to dolphins and sea lions! Laura is scuba certified and in her spare time Laura enjoys spending time with friends and family, watching movies and visiting zoos and aquariums.
Lea attended college at Fordham university and graduated with a bachelors of science degree. Lea has always has a life filled with animals. She currently owns a dog named Ernésto and a quarter horse named Freckles. She trained her horse how to bow and give kisses, and trained her dog to give high fives! She joined the PRAH family in October of 2016 and is slowly learning about the veterinary field/ and being a technician. She is very excited about working here at Park Ridge Animal Hospital!
Samuel Antoshak attends Ramapo College. He has a deep seated love for animals and has three dogs of his own at home. Sam has worked at PRAH since August 2013. A job at PRAH is just the perfect fit for him. In his free time Sam enjoys fishing, hiking, and boating at his summer house. He is also a volunteer firefighter in Upper Saddle River, NJ.
Loren has been working at PRAH since March 2014. She attended college at Cook College, Rutgers University and graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science. Her major was Animal Science. Loren has worked as a veterinary technician since 1999. She has many years of experience in general practice as well as emergency medicine. Her special interests are riding horses and cooking. In her spare time, Loren enjoys spending time with her dog Mackenzie, her two cats Samantha, and Daphne and her horse Three To Get Ready or Threez for short. Loren shows Threez in both hunter and jumper classes and is excited about moving up to the 3’3” division this year.
Lauren began at PRAH as an unpaid observer when she was in high school. When she was old enough, we hired her as a veterinary assistant. Lauren worked for us when she was in high school and came back when she decided to attend college locally. She is currently a student at Ramapo College. She has a special interest in veterinary medicine and hopes to pursue a career in the veterinary field. Lauren is currently doing an internship at Pfizer working on a cancer research project. Lauren’s family has rescued 3 dogs. Jessie, a small mixed breed rules the house and Simon and Audrey, Pit Bull Mixes, are best friends.
