On Thursday, October 30th, PRAH celebrated Halloween 70’s style! Check out some of our staff decked out in their 70’s costumes. Dr. Manderino AKA “The Disco Doctor” was the life of the party! There were also some early 70’s “hippies” and Barbara sported an awesome hairstyle! We had a party in conjunction with “A Little Cake Bakery.” There was free food and drinks! We had a pet costume contest, too. Check out some of our entries. The three Yorkies won best costume. The doodle in the tutu was second and Chloe AKA Miss Piggy came in third! We even had an adorable bunny with a witch’s hat in a basket!
We had many great people in costume including Brynn the Starbucks Barista, Charlotte the Black Cat, Drew AKA Thomas the Train and an adorable mermaid!
We also had a visitor- Zoe, an recently adopted dog from Halfway Hounds. For more info visit www.halfwayhounds.org.
What is Ebola?
Ebola, previously known as Ebola hemorrhagic fever, is a rare and deadly disease caused by infection with one of the Ebola virus strains. Ebola can cause disease in humans and nonhuman primates (monkeys, gorillas, and chimpanzees).
Park Ridge Animal Hospital proudly supports Mickey’s Kids and Canine Assistants. We donate a lifetime of Heartworm preventative and Flea and Tick Control for some of their service dogs like Blaze, seen in this video. This video depicts how important it is to keep service dogs healthy and how we as a veterinary community can help “Celebrate the Bond” between pets and owners.
